Sudhanshu Ranjan has been in the service of the Reserve Bank of India for a period spanning thirty six years. He has a penchant for composing poetry on a variety of subjects encompassing the nature, society, facets of human life, spiritualism, politics, beauty, inspirational and patriotic fervor. The journey began in the early days when one day spontaneously a poem on the issues afflicting the individual and the society and the volition and promise required to overcome it for a stronger and glorious nation was composed. 
It received his father’s admiration and encouragement. Following which he composed many marvels.
He is a prolific writer, and has written many articles on scientific development, human values, social issues and spiritual subjects which have been published in various local, national and in house magazines both in Hindi and English. 
Being sensitive to the core, he is driven and moved by emotional issues and those affecting human values, resulting in many good poems.
