Toshmina Das was born and partly brought up in Bhubaneswar, Orissa. She is currently located in Assam with her husband and her very adorable five-year-old daughter. A microbiologist by degree and a teacher by profession, she prefers being a stay-at-home mom now. She loves travelling, cooking, and, above all, reading.
