After retiring from an illustrious career of 35 years as a teacher, scientist and PhD guide in the University of Rajasthan Jaipur, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal and Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Bhopal, India, she switched over to Hypnotherapy in 2005. She holds a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy of the California Hypnosis Institute, USA.
She has been practicing hypnotherapy for the last 15 years and conducting training courses in Clinical Hypnotherapy. She is doing exemplary service to society by demystifying hypnosis and popularizing hypnotherapy through lectures, seminars and workshops. She is the founder of the Institute of Clinical Hypnosis, Trichur, Kerala. She has written several popular articles on hypnotherapy in newspapers and health magazines in India. This is her first book on the subject.
