After superannuation, he published two scientific memoirs, four illustrated books in English and Hindi, on dinosaurs and climate change, meant for popularizing Earth Science among the masses. He has lectured in educational institutions, workshops and seminars on varied subjects like fossils, dinosaurs, climate change, sea-level changes, geoheritage, etc. He was honored for his contribution to Hindi by Rajasthan Hindi Granth Academy, Jaipur on 14th August, 2019.
