Born in Patna (India) in 1945 Umesh Dhar after retirement relocated to Pune. After his specialization in the area of Behavioral Science (BS) he was posted for 8 years as a BS Trainer in State Bank of India. During this stint not only his trainees in Bihar and Jharkhand were benefited by his knowledge and skills but he, too, felt benefited in the process.
Convinced with the quality of his “Tatvagyaan” achievements, State Bank management allowed him two years’ extraordinary Leave in 1972-74 to pursue his goals in “Tatvagyaan”. In 1995 the Top Management of the Bank selected him for authoring a book in Hindi on Human Resource Development. He was granted two months’ Special Leave for this. During his services in the Bank he toured 12 countries and got opportunities of discussing the scientific aspects of the “Posture-Free” Yoga with the students and personnel of the Universities of Manchester, Nottingham, Leeds and Cambridge and also that of the staff colleges of the State Bank. His writings, poems and small books have been well appreciated in the foreign countries and in India.
But Umesh Dhar feels that the best achievement of his life is the Science of “Tatvagyaan”. The essentiality and indispensability of the “Tatvagyaan” spoken by Lord Krishna in Chapter 9/23, 24 made such an impact on him that right in his student life, in tandem with his mother, he switched over to researching on “Tatvagyaan”. When in January 1967 he achieved practical access to the “Tatvagyaan Science” he felt lifted, thrilled and overwhelmed. Dwelling and developing further in the realm of that great exceptional experience became a life term profession for him.
