Born and brought up in West Bengal, Upasana Chatterjee is a student, who has started her writting career with her poetry book "Petals of Mind-40 pieces of thought" , where her thoughts and reflection got a parnassian shape . In her book, it has been mentioned that she is someone, who wants to be a writer with total freedom, with an unshackled voice. 
Early life :
She has born to a bengali family of West Bengal on 28th October to Mr Bhaskar Chatterjee and Sutapa Chatterjee. Her father is a serviceman and a photographer by passion, while mother is a homemaker. She has completed her schooling from Nirjhar Day Boarding Higher Secondary school of Durgapur and now is a student of English literature. She is a very passionate singer and does recitation and painting as well.
 
Career :
When she was just ten years old, she started dreaming to be a writer. On 2019, She published her book of poetry "Petals of Mind - 40 pieces of thought" from Notionpress publishing house and according to her, Notionpress has done a very applaudable and commendeble job. With this book she started her career and aspires to publish many more books in future
 
Personal Life :
She is currently single and now focusing on her studies and career.
