He was the founder-chairman of the Indian Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has developed new surgical techniques and a few of his inventions are pending patency. He has lectured extensively and published many papers in national and international journals. He is currently serving as Dean of Mar Baselios Dental College, Kerala, India.
