Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThe book stands out for its self-introspective outlook, and honest portrayal of the life of an officer in the Indian administrative service. The book captures with unconscious frankness, the functioning of the government at various levels. It also deals with the real and imagined discrimination faced by those IAS officers who are inducted from the other services, and this perhaps makes the book, the first of its kind.
