“Born in lockdown” is a collection of poems written during lockdown. When we all were trapped inside the four walls of our homes, worried for our lives, uncertain of what the future holds and suddenly finding the time to do things which perhaps we had forgotten about in the struggles of day to day life. The corona times actually gave us an opportunity to rediscover ourselves, reignite relationships, experiment with new things, challenge oneself, looking beyond our limitations and lots more. The poems in this book range talk about love, heartbreak, happiness, loneliness, relationships, life, abstract things & lots more. Ketki Verma is a preschool teacher & a voice artist by profession. A passionate writer and a spoken-word performer, Ketki has been writing for over a decade and her stories and poems have been published in 5 anthologies so far. She also has her own YouTube channel and Instagram page by the name spoken_by_heart. She loves interacting with new people and writers. She recently started an initiative called #penningwithketki for writers who are looking for inspiration / motivation to write. Ketki also hosts storytelling, poetry & other open mic events with the aim of giving a platform to many artists and writers to showcase their talent.
