Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalBuried But Breathing
Buried But Breathing is a soul-baring collection of just eight poems—each one a deep breath taken in the midst of silent suffering, unspoken prayers, and quiet resilience. Though few in number, these pieces carry the weight of becoming, the ache of loss, and the gentle rhythm of healing. Through themes of faith and endurance, this collection reflects the beauty of rising—softly, slowly, but surely. This book is for anyone carrying unseen battles, learning to let go, and choosing to bloom in the dark.

This is my very first published book—my own words, my own healing, and a piece of my soul in written form.
I’m a 19-year-old girl, soon stepping into 20, still learning, still growing. I’ve always found comfort in books, in writing, and in capturing the quiet beauty of life. Because when I write, that’s when I feel most alive.
I really love watching sunsets and pretty skies. Sunrises are amazing too, and I’m always fascinated by the night sky, especially the moon and the stars. Those moments just feel peaceful and remind me to slow down and enjoy the little things.
This book is a beginning.
It’s me—raw, real, and reaching for something greater.
Thank you for holding a piece of my journey in your hands.
