Dr. R. Manu
Dr. R. Manu is an Associate Professor at the School of English and Foreign Languages, andhigram Rural Institute. She holds a postgraduate degree in English Language and Literature as well as in Education. As a passionate and socially committed academician, she is the author of several books and scholarly publications. Her areas of research interest include Dalit literature, Indian literature, Subaltern studies and English Language Teaching (ELT). With over twenty years of teaching experience, she has held several significant academic positions and is a life-time member of the English Language Teachers Association (ELTAI) and the Dravidian Language Association (DLA). She is also a reviewer of the English textbooks of primary classes in Tamilnadu and a much noted trainer and resource person for English teachers' training programmes across the state.
