Dr. Harvinder Kaur
Dr. Harvinder Kaur is presently working as Assistant Professor in Economics in S. D. College, Ambala (Haryana). She was conferred a Ph.D. Degree in 2004 in Agriculture Economics from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. She has been awarded a national scholarship in school, graduation and research fellowship for her Ph.D. from K.U.K. Her specialization is in Econometrics and research interest is in Agriculture Economics and Macro Economics. She holds more than thirteen years of teaching experience and has attended more than forty national and international seminars and has published about twenty papers in national and international journals and newspapers and has edited a book on Food Security. She has also organized national seminars in the field of Economics. She is a member of the Haryana Economic Association and also has a strong passion for social work, as she is a member of two Kurukshetra-based NGOs, which work for the welfare of the girl child. She has a spiritual bent of mind and organizes meditational camps from time to time.
