When I look at these four cups,
They remind me of a lady.
Who had been our neighbor for long?
But had left in circumstances shady.
She suddenly left one day,
Without even informing us.
She forgot that we had saved her,
From being killed in an angry fuss.
She gifted us these four cups, before she left,
As an eternal reminder.
That no matter what you do,
Nothing can be saved from the selfish grinder.
Hence, the four cups lay,
Quietly, singing of human vice.
Making me and my family,
Mature, alert and wise.
