Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh Pal"Finite Elements" is an essential subject in most Indian Technological and Applied Science syllabi . The availability of computer programs has made it quite easy to plug in data and churn out a solution. These solutions may not always be correct, however. Blind reliance on such canned programs may lead to costly mishaps. In order to appreciate the workings of such methods the user needs to have a good grasp of the theory, for which matrix theory, differential and integral equations are essential.
It is hoped the book will make the subject easy to understand, for the young student and practising engineer. Numerous examples and solutions are provided. A section on CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) is also added.
