Arul Shanmugavelu
Arul Shanmugavelu is an engineer who furthered his education with a management degree. After working for a short period in HCL Limited and General Optics (Asia) Limited, he joined Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T). In L&T, he worked for 30 years, in various functional areas such as purchase, import and export logistics, domestic & international marketing, customer service and product development. During this period he travelled to many countries and has dealt with people from various cultures. In 2013, he became the chief executive of one of the subsidiaries of L&T. Currently he is the heading Kobelco Industrial Machinery India Private Limited as its managing director.
Arul is passionate about sharing his knowledge with others. He conducts training programs on Effective Living, Fun with Finance and Goal Setting. He is also actively involved in social service.
