Homai was born in Mahabaleshwar, India. She followed the same path that her older sisters took and trained as a Montessori teacher at a Teachers’ Training College in Pune, India. She went on to teach children between the ages of three and twelve. Her innovative and nurturing way of connecting with her students has gained her the respect of every child she has taught, and they still have the utmost respect, love and appreciation for her. She lives in Pune and visits her daughter in New Zealand.
