The research papers in this volume contribute to understanding and addressing issues related to diversity, discrimination, and social exclusion.

Joshy Mathew, is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of English, Kristu Jayanti College, Autonomous, Bengaluru. His areas of academic interests span around Philosophy, Diaspora Literature, Literature from the Margins, Indian Writing in English and Poetry. He is pursuing his doctoral studies at Christ University, Bengaluru, researching in the field of diaspora literature. He has published Five Patents, scholarly articles and book chapters in renowned national and international academic journals and edited collections, and presented research works at various national and international conferences.
Dr. Saranya Narayanan, is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of English, Kristu Jayanti College, Bengaluru. She completed her PhD from the Department of English, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Her thesis explored the complex ways in which literary narratives represent, depict and engage with traumatic experiences. Her research speciality and interests include Trauma Studies, Memory and Space, Gender studies and Women’s writing.
Dr. Giftsy Dorcas E., hails from Tamil Nadu and works as an English faculty at Kristu Jayanti College (Autonomous), Bengaluru. She has completed her doctoral degree in English. Her areas of interest include Emotional Intelligence, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Diasporic Writing.
