Dr.Sanna Ratnavel is an alumnus of IIT-Delhi and has written a lot of books on poetry transcreations. He has focused on a Kurinji thinai and a Marutham thinai in Pathupattu and Kalithogai, respectively. Although all poems in the Sangam literature depicted the lifestyle of men and women in love and their married life, they were narrated from the perspectives of the heroine and her friend. Also, it was narrated from the viewpoint of the man and the concubine. Although the man has mischievous relations with other women besides his love interest, he was attentive in his duties as head of the family and a sincere warrior to the king. It was well picturized by the author in the English language in a free verse.
