Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalVasu never really knew why he chose engineering. Neither did his friends-Rajat, the fearless poet, & Chotu, the street-smart dreamer. Like thousands of middle-class students, they joined a college on the city’s bypass-ordinary, strict, and dull. But that “boring college” soon became the most unforgettable chapter of their lives.
Between bus rides, chai at Kamdar Ji’s stall, late-night rooftop talks, and last-minute exam chaos, their friendship turned into something unbreakable. & then came Riya—beautiful, bold—carrying a secret that would change everything.
When a trusted teacher crosses the line, the laughter fades. What began as jokes and bunked lectures turns into a fight for truth and dignity. Rajat’s poems become their voice. Vasu’s loyalty is tested. And friendship becomes their only shield against injustice.
Filled with laughter, love, rebellion, and heartbreak, Middle-Class College Life is a story every Indian student will see themselves in.
Because engineering was never just about books or exams it was about people, courage, and the memories that never leave your heart.

Ravish
Born on january 4, 1991, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, he completed his schooling at Kendriya vidhyalaya, Dewas (M.P.) in 2009, and went on to earn a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Indore in 2013.
The idea for Middle-Class College Life took root during his college years, shaped by late-night study sessions, tea-stall conversations, friendships, and unspoken emotions. The novel reflects not only his personal journey but also the experiences of a generation navigating expectations, friendships, and self-discovery within India’s education system.
Between 2013 and 2015, Ravish began drafting the novel by hand across more than thirty notebooks, capturing the raw pulse of campus life. As family responsibilities grew & he started his own business in Indore in 2014, writing took a temporary back seat.
Yet his passion endured. Returning to the manuscript night after night, he refined characters, revisited memories, and shaped the story into a complete and emotionally resonant work. Middle-Class College Life stands today as the fulfillment of a decade-long dream—an honest narrative of ordinary students with extraordinary hearts.
Ravish lives in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, balancing entrepreneurship with his enduring love for writing. He believes, "Stories of the middle class deserve to be told, because they are stories of courage, struggle, & hope."
