Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalIt is said that the gripe on current affairs is a real grip that keeps us abreast of issues and events. The ‘day-to-day’ journalism in fact, is what current affairs is all about. To maintain hold and expertise over current affairs gradually leads journalist to maximize his/her canvas to subsume subjects in a detailed commentary of opinion. This book is but a ‘compendium’ of all such daily issues this writer has reacted and compiled in book form to make serious reading. This writer fervently hopes that collection of his essays between the covers would provide modicum of leads in building thought process for budding journos to dwell upon the subjects of their choice and become a force to reckon with.

Author’s basic love is reading and writing and that’s how Journalism has come to be his field of passion and interest. It won’t be inept to say by the author that he treaded a long journey out of his vernacular schooling where English would be just one of the subjects until higher secondary and beyond. However, author’s intent, interest and love for English led him to achieve something little this book has postulated. The author edited Company’s Newsletter well in the beginning of his career where he learned so many important steps and lessons of Journalism, news gathering and the whole concept of news sense. Inquisitiveness and acute observations are two primary factors for the student of Journalism this author too, has developed on his own.
Author is double Masters in Public Administration and English Literature PLUS Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication. He is still pursuing his Masters in the Field of Media and Journalism from IGNOU. He lives in Baroda (Vadodara).
