This book deals with study of herbaceous plant species which grow naturally as successful colonisers. The roadsides of jaipur are bare and cementing them will go a long way hence covering them is the need of hour. This study deals with selection of such plants which can successfully cover the roadside area.
Ecologically and on environmental ground these plants form a green belt, which is an answer to increasing vehicular smoke. Along with this they provide aesthetic pleasure and soothing effect to eyes amidst the sprawling cemented cities. Dust pollution will be minimized, oxygen level of atmosphere is stabilized and carbon dioxide level is checked. Along with this noise pollution and atmospheric temperature will be reduced to some level.
