Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh Pal"I can't see my reflection in the mirror. Why so?
Maybe stopped looking for it.
Or successfully converted into another man.
Still, where has it gone, stolen?
Did I kill it with my own two hands?"
This book is an amalgamation of the ideas trapped inside this hormonal and rebellious brain. Descartes said, I think therefore I am, so perhaps, my poetry exists because I think and because I am. This book is a creation of my amusement with the society I inhabit and the world I wish to create for myself. Poets are emotional folks, they are messy, crazy, sensitive, touchy and maybe, way too smart. Perhaps, this collection of poetry will help you decide which all aspects of a poet do I have too.
SAMARTH SAWHNEY
Samarth Sawhney is a philosopher, a poet, a thinker, a magician of words, a dreamer and a creator of stories in lyrical form. But if you want to tone down the narcissism a bit, he is a teenager who has recently completed his schooling and entered the adult world that he looks at very skeptically. Being fascinated with Greek myths, philosophical dilemmas and paradoxes, Samarth is an introspective fellow who examines his own feelings in a poetic sense and compares his everyday emotions to the grandest of conflicts of human existence. This is his first collection of poetry, and he has already begun working on the next one.
