As a child, I made friends with words when I didn’t find any, and so they became my solace, and that helped me to understand myself better. Growing up, I realized the necessity of having people around me, people who would cherish me for who I am rather than turn for who they want me to be. The person I am today, I owe it to a great many people in all stages of my life and to name them here in this book would take up so many more pages. My gratitude towards these people I hope, is known by them. And if not, I hope I will get to express it someday, in some way.
