As a teenager or a young adult, we have all felt these things at some time. We are all young passionate people and have a smouldering heart full of a spectrum of emotions The things I am talking about is that moment when we discover friendship. The friend who you spend all the time in the world with. The friend with whom you share all your secrets however deep and dark they maybe. Or when you discover grief when such a friend moves away or your crush says no. How about betrayal when you find out that your bestie talked about you behind your back or when the person who you though loved you was just taking advantage of you. There are moments in our lives when our confidence is so low that we think that there is something wrong with us. Maybe it was us who had a problem not them. We are troubled why is it that everyone leaves us in the end maybe its just us. But sweethearts, you need to realise that you are perfect just the way you are. You don’t need to change for anyone. Of course self improvement and betterment is always good but a drastic change in your life won’t be good for you. People need to recognise you as you are. The only thing missing is your love for your own self. If you don’t love yourself, then why will someone else do so? Maybe you will find your own emotions and stories in the poems I composed and hopefully they provide you with courage and companionship.
