My passion for writing grew as soon as I entered my teens. It started with Diary writing every night, by putting down the entire dilemma of teenage which remained unexpressed. Being an introvert this platform was my stress buster. My love for reading increased day by day and I decided to pursue English Literature for my Graduation.
People have big gaols in life, but I had a simple one- to become a school teacher. I realised that the innocent hearts of the children, their prompt candid answers and curiosity attracted me towards them. My role of an educator initiated in 1992 as a school teacher.
Surprisingly, I never felt I could or was confident of writing poetry. But universe had its own plans. I met a person whose friendship changed my personality, modified some of my weakness and I started looking at life from a more positive perspective.
Words began to flow like river and I for the first time tried my hand on poetry writing. Friends and relatives appreciated by way of expression which served as a motivation.
Moreover, penning down few lines relaxed my mind and helped me to take decisions well at my work place and personal life.
Few years later I stepped into spiritual life and looked at life from a different angle. Then that started reflecting in my poetry.
I have also been associated with Macmillan publishing house as freelance content developer writing short stories and poem for children for their course books.
