Dr. Tara Chand is a distinguished pharmaceutical professional and academician, currently serving as the Professor and Principal at the Regional College of Pharmacy, Jaipur, since July 2013. He has a rich educational background, holding a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jodhpur National University, an M.Pharm. in Quality Assurance, an MBA in HR from IGNOU, and a B.Pharm. degree.
Dr. Chand's research is notably centered on the phytochemical and pharmacological investigation of arid region plants of Rajasthan, with a focus on antidiabetic activity. He has a strong academic career, having progressed through various roles at the Regional College of Pharmacy, Jaipur, starting as a Lecturer in 2003 and advancing to his current position.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Chand is an active member of several professional associations, including the Indian Pharmaceutical Association and the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India. He has contributed significantly to the field through numerous research publications and has guided many students in their project and research work.
