The New Age Bedtime Stories!
The New Age Bedtime Stories is an attempt at looking past the old fashioned themes circling around princesses, animals, little magical islands, giants or fairies. It is a heart felt initiative to freshen them up with a little more realistic approach. The Author came up with this idea of writing a kids story book because she believes that in order for any child to have a better future ahead, they first need a better upbringing! So this is dedicated to all mothers and fathers (invested in your child’s overall development) so that you can come up with some new stories to tell in a slightly old fashioned way but with a broader perspective. The Author has children of her own and understands the importance of teaching good virtues which are best absorbed as toddlers. Magical and mystical is quite unrealistic and modern upbringing aims for children to not live in such a delusional world. They need to know what’s good and what’s bad which they only can by learning different kinds of virtues, choosing for themselves, and carving their own beliefs and judgements devoid of superstitions and flying fairies!
So let’s delve right into the world of virtues for our children to ponder upon today and hoping that there’d be a newer version when this one gets old! Read on!

The Author had a vision to empower young minds as she believes the future lies in their hands. Growing up in a suburban village in Kolkata she had very few opportunities due to financial constraints and some of her own fears. But she never stopped dreaming of becoming a writer. She felt a constant urge to pen down her thoughts to the world.
Backed with a good education in Bachelor of Arts from the reputed St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, and her strong grasp of the language because of her mother tongue being English as she was born into an Anglo-Indian family, she knew she had something good to tell.
