Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalIn a society where marriage is often seen as a milestone or a mandate, and the equation of love and relationships getting complex and confusing, the Paradox of Modern Love and Relationships takes you on a journey you were never taught to take, 'A journey inward.'
This book takes you on a raw, unfiltered journey through the emotions, dilemmas, and decisions that define modern relationships. From first dates to family expectations, from emotional connection to financial conversations, from breakups to self-discovery, this book explores it all with honesty, clarity, and compassion.
The book dives into the heart of this dilemma. It is a deeply reflective exploration of the evolving landscape of love, intimacy, marriage, commitment, solitude, and everything in between. Drawing from real-life stories, years of observation, research in modern psychology, and personal conversations across different cultures and backgrounds, the book addresses what so many young Indians feel but don’t verbalize: confusion, pressure, disillusionment, and quiet hope.
This book is also a journey into understanding yourself better. It invites you to think deeply about your values, hopes, and fears. It encourages you to question societal norms, challenge common beliefs, and truly reflect on what you want from life.

Darshan is an author, observer, and advisor who bridges psychology, philosophy, and social reality through his writing. With an MBA in Finance and background in investing, his perspective is both analytical and empathetic. He has spent over a decade analysing trends not only in markets and industries, but in human behaviour and societal evolution.
Over the years, Darshan has written extensively through blogs and articles about the intersection of society, relationships, personal growth, and emotional decision-making. The idea for this book was born out of countless conversations with friends, family, acquaintances, and strangers each navigating their own version of the love, relationship and marriage dilemma.
Through deep listening, personal reflection, and psychological inquiry, he noticed patterns that felt universal. In The Paradox of Modern Love and Relationships, he weaves those observations into stories, reflections, and thought frameworks that empower young people to think for themselves, question inherited assumptions, and make conscious decisions about love and marriage.
This is Darshan’s second book, following his well-received debut Future Ready Investing, a strategic guide to investing in India’s emerging sectors and demographic trends.
