Reading books was an automatic choice for me. At the age of twelve, I read a short graphic novel version of Frankenstein, and it gave my imagination a whole new perspective. I was immediately drawn to science fictions, detective novels, and horror stories. The very first book I read was Peter Pan, and it took me to a whole new world of wonders and adventure. As my sister did her Masters’ in English, I became familiar with works of Shakespeare and Poe and took English as an elective subject during graduation. While in college, I got the privilege to watch an award-winning play “Court Martial” by celebrated author and playwright “Shree Swadesh Deepak” in his very presence, at Tagore Theatre. His work inspired me to explore my passion for writing, and I feel truly proud to be his nephew! My dreams and imagination have always fuelled my work, and I feel glad to share this story with you, dear reader.
