Dr. Jagdish Rai
Dr. Jagdish Rai is an assistant professor of forensic biological sciences at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Earlier he was a postdoctoral research associate at Beckman Institute of Advanced Science and Technology, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA. He did Ph.D. (doctorate) in biotechnology from ICGEB (International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology), Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He was awarded “InnoCentive winning solver” in 2014 for proposing schematics for the Next Generation Sequencing technology of DNA.
