Vijay Nair was born on 23rd August 1977 in Tathamangalam, Palakkad, Kerala.
Banker by profession, he is a noted writer, poet and entrepreneur.
He did his schooling from Govt. L. P School, Nallepilly, Govt. UP School, Nalleppilly and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Malampuzha. He completed his graduation and MBA, whilst in service in Indian Navy.
From 1996 to 2011, he served in the Indian Navy. Since 2013, he is with SBI and is presently based at Palakkad, Kerala.
