This book is intended mainly for undergraduates in MBBS. The topics are arranged in alphabetical order for easy perusal with hyperlinks. It is written in very simple English and the subject matter is described very concisely and legibly so that it is understood easily by the student community. Around 496 photographs and other charts are included wherever necessary for co-relating theoretical aspects with real photographs. The presentation of this is far superior to other E-Books on the same subject. In the chapter concerning torture methods, hyperlinks are provided which will display the different instruments used for torture on YouTube. Editing, alignment and arranging photographs are mainly done by the co-authors and it is going to be a boon for the students.

Dr. Rajaram N, MD hails from the Trivandrum district of Kerala and is settled in Trichur. He was with the Government of Kerala and has worked in all government medical colleges in various positions concerned with his specialty and retired as a Professor from Medical College Trichur in 2007. After retirement he was with the Kannur Medical college, Anjarakandy; PSGIMSR, Coimbatore; MES Medical College, Perinthalmanna; DMWIMS, Wayanad; PKDIMS, Ottapalam and is presently attached to Karuna Medical College, Palakkad. His knowledge in this specialty was obtained mainly through his guru, Dr Sivasankara Pillai, Retired DME Govt of Kerala with whom he was able to study this subject during undergraduate study and post-graduation in Governement Medical College, Trivandrum. He inspired him to master the subject. He was his teacher, guide and mentor. The author has more than thirty-three years of teaching experience.
