Sourav Sarkar

World renowned and International Poet Sourav Sarkar was born on 10th November 1988 in Cooch Behar District , West Bengal, INDIA. He went to Jenkins school ,Cooch Behar for higher secondary education. He received graduation in English Literature from University B.T & Evening college. Post graduate from St. Joseph’s college Darjeeling in English Literature . He is a teacher by profession. Fore mostly he is a poet. His poems so far published in India, England, Bangladesh, America, Canada, Trinidad, Kenya etc. He started Dead end poetry movement on 8th December 2020. His famous poems are Way to Raidak, Green Peace, Verse of time etc. The term The Common Era Literature or Common Literature is coined by the poet Sourav Sarkar on 24th of October 2021. World Common Literature Day is celebrated across the globe on 24th October every year. He is a world class editor of International poetry anthologies and he has edited 14 International anthologies. He has edited 400 poets from all over the world. His world anthologies reached 196 countries of the world. His book reached mostly in the countries like United States of America, England , Ireland, Italy ,Bulgaria, Romania etc. His latest edit Cooch Behar Anthology book (published 1st February 2022) reached 60 countries of the world which glorifies name of his motherland and fatherland and own city COOCH BEHAR.
