Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThe Great Big Temple of Tanjore !! Built a millennium ago by the King Raja Raja Cholan
At its apex, the Vimana holds the magnificent 81 tons granite dome.
How was the massive weight lifted a thousand years ago without sophisticated lifting equipment?
Was it accomplished using a ramp and elephants, with a weight of only 81 tonnes as traditionally believed ?
In reality, the research strongly suggests that the weight far exceeds 81 tonnes and Chola Engineers lifted and installed a massive weight in a matter of hours!
Not possible without state-of-the-art lifting machinery.
To contrast, the ancient Tamil engineers of the Chola dynasty were able to accomplish this feat in a matter of hours by incorporating scientific and mathematical principles into their well-planned strategy.
Mission started before sunrise and ended before sunset! No wonder the mission could have been finished before noon. The study confirms!
Ramp and Elephants is a made-up story that grossly undervalues the Cholas' exceptional scientific, mathematical, and engineering brilliance, which predated major prominent scientists.
Science ignores size!
As long as the law of Physics is truly, faithfully, and unwaveringly mastered, it obeys the law and delivers on time!
One discovery leads to another .
The Vimana hides incredible science and engineering secrets for eager and curious minds to discover, and this book takes us on a journey to learn more!
