Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalAfter the success of A Crash Course on Mathematical Physics, I offer A Crash Course on Electromagnetic Theory. This is actually the next instalment in the book series for CSIR-NET, GATE, JEST and other Physics examinations. The underlying idea is to provide a concise material for quick preparation for your upcoming examinations. Unlike a bulky book of thousands pages, I believe that the series of books offers unique and better reader experience.
This book or rather booklet, by no means, is intended to provide a complete course on electromagnetic theory. Nevertheless, this is what you require after reading a whole electromagnetic theory plus electrodynamics. Therefore, the contents of the book are something you can and must digest. The book contains two parts. The first part includes important facts of electromagnetic theory namely, electrostatics, magnetostatics, electromagnetics, electrodynamics, etc. The supplementary topics such as co-ordinate systems and tensors have been also included.
The second part contains problems based on these topics along with their detailed solutions. The problems are taken from various Physics examinations such as NET, GATE, JEST, etc. This is to boost your learning experience and to ensure that you are well acquainted with the level of the questions, you are going to deal with in your upcoming examinations. The book is equally useful for other Physics lectureship examinations of GDC, UPHESC, MPPSC, RPSC, etc.
