His bristly strokes adorn a vast canvas, creating a colossal compilation of poems. “Across Mirage of Life” marks his third published work, a poetic Mausoleum dedicated to his beloved wife Saroja Satheesh. These poetic Mausoleums have become a signature of his soulful vision – across mirage of life.
A Passionate hug a passionate hug, I hear your heart, your heartbeat, the chirp of your soul. Lovebird sings. I hear mine too. Through soft music, song of souls. Lovebirds sing.
Together we hear the Symphony of millions, the music of souls. Echo of spirits, deep in and out, vibrate in rhythm, love boundless. In the ocean of love, one with the cosmos, we merge in every atom, one soul; one song. I embrace, merging in oneness. I breathe in breathe out. Turning into a dream, I fly high, and as I float, my wings cover the entire universe. We disappear in subtle softness. When you call I reverberate, from silence the world around replies to my wish! End my monologue.
Satheesan Rangorath
Born to parents M. Sreedharan Nair, and Sarada Amma, Satheesan Rangorath completed his early education in the schools of his village, Elappulli in Palakkad District of Kerala, India. He graduated in Commerce from the Government Victoria College Palakkad. About this time he migrated to Bombay in search of a job, a feature common to many youngsters in those days. This is looking back to the Path he trekked from 19th November 1948. As a simple observer of life, he has said many interesting things in simple vocabulary. His poems are not complicated and are readable to any layman, who has basic knowledge of English. Quiet and generally reserved from his early days, he had found the power of poetry as a profoundly satisfying form of expression in a world that cannot stop talking. His intuitive response to the varieties of life situations interwoven with the mysteries of mother nature has aided the creative flow from within, helping himself to ink the lines in his leisure hours as a routine from his youth.
He graduated in law in 1978 before he moved to the United Arab Emirates where he served as a bank officer for 27 years. Supporting him in all walks of life has been his beloved wife, Saroja, a soft-spoken and able homemaker. In the year 2021, on December 19, she left for her heavenly abode. And this collection of his poem ‘‘Across Mirage Of Life” is his homage and dedication in memory of his beloved wife.
Satheesan Rangorath has published his poems in many poetry forums and has received several accolades. “MEMORY SPROUTS” VOL I, II and III are his second publications, that found entry into record books, like the India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records. SNAPSHOTS OF A FIREFLY was his first published work of poems.
