Bhakther Solomon is a Social Scientist with a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics. He has also had short special trainings at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad, Reading University in UK, INDOEP, Paris and in Australia. He has visited more than 35 countries. In recognition of his contributions to Church and Society, he was conferred with the Title of ‘Doctor of Divinity’ (Honoris Causa) by the Academy of Ecumenical Indian Theology and Church Administration, Chennai. He has been in the field of professional development for more than 45 years. And, as a messenger of Social Gospel, he has helped many marginalized families to achieve both economic and social empowerment bytheir own efforts. During the last couple of years, he has also been an effective carrier of the Good News of the Gospel to a vast number of non-Christians.
