Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalA book that tells a story without completely narrating it!
You are the protagonist in the book and you choose how your character would have lived this story, the situations they must be in, based on the emotions of the poems and short stories. The story starts in a small house with the character remembering a life that was much simpler than what it is now. The journey that follows is an emotional mayhem, something that is very much a part of life. But I’ll tell you this; the ending is a happy and calm one.
However, this is not necessarily a spoiler because you are the one who will decide how the protagonist got there!
The poems and short stories are just various pinholes into your character’s mind.
So, the story is in your hands. Make it as wonderful, as dark and as beautiful as you want.
Make a story of your own.
Drikshita Das
Drikshita Das is a twenty-three-year-old CA Final student. She completed her schooling in a quaint town of Navi Mumbai from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Panvel and has graduated with a B.Com (Honours) degree from the Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune. Currently, she is pursuing her professional degree in Chartered Accountancy in Mumbai. She has been active in the open mic circles of Pune and Mumbai and has performed on various platforms like Poems India and Indie Habitat. She is also accredited to being published as a co-author in almost a dozen co-authored anthologies.
Writing has always been a derivative of life for her. What she sees, how she feels, what goes around her, all of it finds a way to seep into her poems and stories. So, while people say life as a CA student can be pretty tough, these little outlets and spaces for the imagination help add the much-required splash of colour in her life and possibly others.
An Eye Through My Kaleidoscope is Drikshita’s debut book and she cannot wait to hear your feedback on it.
