Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalNobody loves stories more than children. The book is an attempt to retell the bedtime stories told by my father during my childhood. The story is about the funny misadventures of a lazy young man who was blessed by lady luck. The story has been written in a way that makes it relevant for kids of today’s generation while maintaining the good old fantasy-fiction genre feeling of “once upon a time lived a king”. Dive into the world of a mad elephant, a man-eater tiger, a super-fast horse and a lazy man whose luck is too good to be true. This short storybook is filled with illustrations that children can colour to bring the book to life!
VICKY BHAIYA
Vicky Bhaiya is a storyteller, story lover, book collector, chess enthusiast, self-taught sketch artist, poet and aspires to build a career in the life sciences. He is blessed with a mother who dotes on him and supports him and a father who shared all these interests but gave up on them due to the lack of time and demands of responsibilities. He has two precious young sisters who never get tired of teasing him for being a bibliophile.
He grew up around the country due to his father’s job transfers every four to five years. That helped him to hold on to books, as friends were left behind. It started with comics, slowly graduated to short-story collections and then novels. And somewhere in between, a strong desire to contribute stories to the world was born.
The author wishes for a world where children grow up dreaming of doing as many things as they love—a world of polymaths!
