Tumbenthung Humtsoe, born in 1991 in a small hill town in Nagaland, did his Ph.D in Economics from the University of Hyderabad, India.  Presently with the Finance Department, Government of Nagaland, he lives in Kohima. An independent researcher, he writes and has written academic papers in journals and edited books. He also contributes regularly to dailies in his home state commenting on issues of the day.
