Sameer, born and raised in Shillong, Meghalaya, is Technical Head at a leading UAE-based marine services company, specializing in cutting-edge high-pressure breathing air compressors, Low-pressure NITROX compressors, advanced diving technology, safety management and comprehensive equipment maintenance for diving equipment. He holds a technical qualification in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering for light fixed-wing aircraft and gliders, though he no longer works in the field of civil aviation any longer. A passionate aviation enthusiast, Sameer continues to explore the skies in his spare time. He is also dedicated to marine conservation - artificial reef building, and is a certified rescue diver. His poetry collection, Bottomless Surface, delves into human emotions and self-discovery. Outside of work, Sameer enjoys cooking, playing guitar, underwater exploration, and writing.
