Venkat Pulapaka

Venkat Pulapaka has over 34 years of experience in writing and editing for the media, including eight years of teaching media subjects. He was associated with several newspapers, magazines and had the opportunity to head the departments of journalism at two premier universities in Tamil Nadu, i.e. Amrita University (Coimbatore) and SRM University (Chennai). He started his career as a cub reporter in an evening newspaper in Hyderabad and went on to work on the copy desk (in various capacities) of several newspapers and magazines. Some of the newspapers he worked in include Indian Express, Free Press Journal, The Riyadh Daily, Gulf Daily News, The Daily and The Hans India. He also had the opportunity to be the editor of two magazines and one of them being Brainfeed Magazine, a magazine on education. He has now ventured into writing books. Starting from humble beginnings, he has grown into a successful Editor and Teacher. Most of his students are working for newspapers, television channels and news portals of repute in the country and abroad. Venkat Pulapaka hails from Hyderabad, Telangana.
