Asok Dasgupta, Satyaki Sen
Mr. Asok Dasgupta, is a very well-known management expert in the country and abroad having spent more than four decades in Power and Energy related sectors. After graduating with Honours in Physics from Calcutta University, Mr. Dasgupta joined IIT, Kharagpur in 1959 in Mechanical Engineering. He went to England and was awarded BSc. Engg. degree in Mechanical branch of the London University in 1962. On returning to India after he joined various companies in 1970 he joined CESC (Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation) and worked in various capacities before being elevated as the Chief Executive of CESCON Ltd and thereafter additionally as the President of Noida Power Company Ltd. He was the National President of the Indian Institute of Materials Management from 1983 to 1985. For his outstanding contribution to the field of materials management in the country, Mr. Dasgupta was conferred with the National Award of the Institute of Materials Management in 1987 and awarded ‘Life Time Achievement Award in 2011’. He is a founder member of the Independent Power Producers Association of India(IPPAI) and is currently, President of IPPAI. Mr. Dasgupta is the past National President of 41 Clubs of India and past President of the Rotary Club of Calcutta Midtown.
Satyaki Sen has an experience of more than 20 years in the field of Communication & Technology as a Corporate Professional in DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority), Ericsson, Orga System (R&D), Atos, Vodafone-IBM, Reliance Telecom and has provided services around the globe. Satyaki used to work closely with Gartner, Forrester, Science Direct, IEC, BSI, IEEE, PatSnap, Scopus and Taylor Francis group to define the technology strategy of the CIO organization.
