Girija Kumari R. P. was born in the nondescript village of Peechottukonam, Vizhinjam in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She was the second child of Ramakrishnan and Padmakshi, a very humble couple. She graduated in Nursing in 1990 and working as nursing professional in Sree Chitra Hospital Thiruvananthapuram since 1991. She is married to Johnson, and they are blessed with a son, Abi G John, and a daughter, Aber G John.
She is passionate about spreading the Gospel and uses all her leisure time working for the glory of God. Her only desire is to please God in and through her life, irrespective of the consequences.
