Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh Pal“Fallen Leaves” endeavours to touch upon various social, psychological and philosophical issues of human life, trying to expose the underlying hypocrisies and exploitations in the name of God, religion and human relationships.
It is a bold attempt to reveal the hidden pyscho-sexual aspect of man-woman relationship, redefining love outside the commonplace behaviour. Interlaced with sub-plots, the book acquires an episodic character attempting to convey its core message.
Taraprasad Mishra
Taraprasad Mishra, 65, has donned many caps in his long career spanning over last forty years. After doing his post-graduation in English Literature he taught English in a premier Government Graduate college in Bhubaneswar.
After a short stint as a Lecturer, he joined as an officer in a Government Bank in which he worked for about thirteen years successfully, then switched over to a private company as an officer of banking and international business. Having considerable experience in the commercial world he decided to commence his own business independently.
This long stint as an entrepreneur continued for a good long period for nearly two and a half decades. However, his full-time business engagement could not subvert his indomitable desire to write, which was the most compelling call of his inner self. During the intervening period, to enrich his knowledge and insight, which are the two most important attributes of a writer, he read extensively on various subjects to expand his horizon.
Though his pen was not active his mind was working in a premeditated direction. Intermittently he had written a few literary and non-literary articles and posted them in several groups and websites. Of course, this book is his first serious attempt in writing a full-fledged literary narrative.
