Vickey David is an Indian English poet, editor, and lecturer in the Amity School of Languages at Amity University, Raipur. He has been a participant in many national poetry and short story contests. He has also published his poems in online and offline magazines. Presently, he writes for 'Creative Chromosome' and 'Delhi Poetry Slam'. Moreover, he is a chief editor of the blog Wings of Words ( www.wingsofword.com )He writes on various subjects like education, caste, depression, domestic violence, women's rights, urban family life, ghetto life, and so on. In order to have a broader perspective on life, he conducts counseling in government and non-government educational institutions. He has published his two anthologies of poems entitled Caged Uncaged and The Beauty of Loneliness, edited anthologies entitled Spring Remains, Loving Unloving, Heap of Broken Images, and Rains in the Plains. He has also edited a short story collection - The Eclectics. His Echoes Heard in Silence is the first graphic poetry book published in 2022.
