Ravi Mawkin

Ravi Mawkin was born in New Delhi, India in 1949. Ravi first came to England in 1968 to further his education, and he graduated in Electronics from the City University in London. He has worked for over forty years in leading FTSE and NASDAQ-listed engineering companies in Europe and the USA, and now, after retiring, Ravi lives in London.

Ravi has travelled widely throughout the world, particularly the Indian sub-continent, South East Asia and Latin America, prompting his comprehensive interest in food and hospitality. This passion has encouraged him to write the recipes for his second book. His first book was Truly Punjabi, My Culinary Journey.

Ravi has been married to Manjula, a teacher by profession, for over 40 years, and they have two sons and four granddaughters, all of whom live in the UK.
