The Ghats (Riverbank) of Benares are one of the most beautiful River Front in the world. The Ghats at Varanasi form a bow like shape and populated with beautiful ancient building and temples.There are more than 84 Ghats starting from Assi Ghat at the touching down, to Rajghat from where the river leaves Kashi spread over a span of more than 6 Kilometres. Ringing of bells, Arati, and puja particularly in the morning and evening provides solace and eternal peace. Ganga Arati and various religious ceremonies around Ghats round the year keep the Kashi always live and chanting.
If someone wants to know and understand spirit of Kashi, he must go to Ghats of Benares, where old culture, environment, and ambience are still alive. The entry to the ghats of Banaras is totally free for everyone. One and any one is welcomed without asking for their Religion, Cast, Creed, or Nationality to experience eternal peace, joy, and solace.
