Arun Kumar Kapur
Group Captain Arun Kumar Kapur VSM (Retd) was commissioned into Indian Air Force on 8th June 1978. After serving for nearly 34 years, he retired on 30th April 2012. He was an officer in the Administration Branch of Indian Air Force . For nineteen years of his service, he worked as Fighter Controller taking very active part in operations. Having been a Category ‘A” Fighter Controller, he also served as the Directing Staff in Tactics and Combat Development Establishment (TACDE) of IAF. Besides holding staff appointments, he served as Chief Administrative Officer in two of the premier bases of the Air Force. Thereafter, he also served as Director in Air Force Headquarter. For his services as an IAF officer he was decorated by the President with Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM).
