Dr. Sonia Gupta is a poet, writer, author, reviewer, editor and translator. She hails from Dera Bassi, Mohali, Punjab, India. By profession, she is a Dentist (MDS, Oral Pathology). She writes in English, Hindi & Punjabi languages. She has authored seventeen independent books (collection of poetry and stories), of which ten are in English and seven are in Hindi. Her write-ups are published in vivid local, national and international anthologies, newspapers, journals and magazines. She has edited several poems, articles and anthologies and has translated many poems of different poets from around the world into English, Hindi and Punjabi languages. She is also fond of painting, singing, dancing, knitting, embroidery, teaching, reading and cooking.
